Xenesthis sp. 'Blue' (Powder Blue & Orange Bird Eater Tarantula) for sale
Argueably the most beautiful of the genus, the X. sp blue is an awesome specimen for those that love size and color!
Many Xenesthis species have been documented taking down rats, snakes, frogs and many other things on the forest floor; they only leave a few bones behind when they are done.
This species has a blue hue as babies and are extremely leggy with a small body and larger legspan hatching at around 1.5". Their carapaces show pink very early on (around 2.5") that eventually turns into a gorgeous pink-orange coloration.
They will grow their legpsan very quickly, reaching 6" typically within around 2 years but as they grow larger their body starts to catch up bringing them that super bulky "tank" like structure that I personally love.
It takes quite some time for these to reach maturity in my conditions around 5 years for both males and females, so having well started individuals that are sexed actually saves alot of time!
Note From Will:
This pair is from my personal holdbacks and we grew these from spiderlings!
It is nice having larger specimens (and sexed specimens) sense babies of this species can be touchy with moiusture requirments.

How we ship live animals:
We ship all live animals using ONLY FedEx Overnight shipping, since it is the fastest and safest way to ship your new pets.
We ship on Tuesdays (for Wednesday arrival) and Wednesdays (for Thursday arrival) and plan shipments on Mondays.
Please make sure to select a FedEx Overnight option at checkout - for "Facility Pickup" or "Home Delivery"!
If your package is over $400 or contains rare/expensive animals we may require you to pick up at your local facility.
**Please remember that "Overnight Shipping" only means that your animal will spend overnight in the box; it does not mean your package shipps immediately and will arrive the next day! **
How we measure invertebrates:
We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.
Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs
Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.
