Varanus prasinus (Tri-Color Green Tree Monitor) PURE "Sorong Locality"

Tree monitors are one of the most intelligent and interesting reptiles in the world

This pairing from the Sorong Locality which is known for its vibrant coloraiton with high expression of blue and sometimes yellow.

These animals are fully arboreal and need a minimum 4' wide x 2' Deep x 4' Tall Enclosure. 

These babies will be fine in a 3'x2x'3x cages and that is what we raise them in. 

A basking spot of around 90-95 with 6% UV T5 Bulbs is a must

These animals are nearly fully insectavores, but we offer day old quail, and fuzzy mice bi weekly for growing individuals and weekly for our gravid females. 

A reasonable rotation of supplements is a must. We use all arcadia supplements for calcium and minertals and rotate between the 4 supplements including D3, Mineral Clay, Calcium with Magnesium and Calcium. We dust crickets every feeding doing a MWF feeding split. 

Above and beyond

All crickets are fed a diet we make in house mixing fruits and veges as well as commercial food diets to make something that is mostly fresh plants and a good calcium to make sure they are dialed in. We encourage keepers to do the same.
