🕷️ Mystery Boxes — Hand-Selected Just for You
Each mystery box is personally hand-picked by me (William), curated around what you actually want in your collection. No random leftovers. No "surprise, it's a species you already have three of."
Most boxes end up being worth more than what you paid — and since we keep the value above your spend as the standard (not the exception), you're always getting the better end of the deal.
To keep things simple (and to let you stack discounts, freebies, and free shipping like normal), we apply the value boost on our end. You get the deal, the perks, and a box that almost always punches above its weight.
Tell us what you're looking for in your order notes — the more specific, the better. Include any combination of:
| Criteria | Options |
|---|---|
| Temperament | Docile / Feisty / Doesn't matter |
| Max Size | Dwarf (under 3.5") / Mid-Sized (3.5–6.5") / Large (6.5–10"+) |
| Behavior | Arboreal / Terrestrial / Fossorial |
| Experience Level | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
| Dealbreakers | Anything you don't want or don't enjoy |
The more you tell us, the closer we get to your perfect box.
The more details we have the better - give us everything you like and do not like!
If discounts apply, or free shipping is selected then the total amount will be compensated based on the paid amount.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing first online tarantula-buying experience!
Great communication from start to finish. Shipping arrived right on time, and everything was packaged amazingly well. My little Lasiodora parahybana arrived healthy and looking great — and, in time 😆, will definitely add a giant to my collection!
I was beyond thrilled with my mystery box. Since this was my first time purchasing tarantulas online, I decided to start with the smallest mystery box, and somehow I lucked out and received two species that were already on my personal wish list: Psalmopoeus victori and Psalmopoeus pulcher!
All three tarantulas arrived healthy, settled in nicely, and have already taken a meal. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better first experience buying online. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and will absolutely be ordering from Exotics Unlimited again. Highly recommend! 🕷️❤️
Hi Heather, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a positive first experience with us and that your tarantulas arrived healthy and happy. We look forward to your next order and appreciate your high recommendation. Enjoy your new collection! 🕷️❤️
I could not be happier with my mystery box selection. I genuinely couldn't have picked slings more perfect for me and I was honestly surprised at the size of my slings (in a good way) seeing as the 4 I received went above the value of the box I ordered (750$). Absolutely will be ordering again.
Hi Sarah! We're thrilled to hear you loved your mystery box and your new slings. Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback — we can't wait to have you back for your next order! 😊
Let me start by saying I practically wrote these folks a dang essay! I expressed my experience level, the absolute max amount of dudes I can currently house, my current collection, and what I was looking for (did I say I wrote an essay? I wrote an essay lol). It was extremelyyyyyy specific as I wanted to clearly communicate my experience level and home environment so my new friends would thrive. Trish sent me a very lovely email telling me my ramblings were great to go off of and assured me they’d keep the restrictions in mind. They absolutely did! They somehow managed to read my mind and pick two species I’d literally had in my cart the weekend before I’d decided on a mystery box instead. And the third was a total surprise! Not a species I’d have immediately picked myself but I love my new lady so much and I’m thrilled she was chosen. For those curious, I got a $500 box discounted to $450 with coupon code and specifically requested that I can take no more than three specimens into my home due to space restriction. I received an absolutely beautiful female Davos pentaloris who has some stunning color on her (this is the one I fell head over heals for, as did my arachnophobic roommate!), a 0.5 inch Homoeomma orellanai who’s pretty inquisitive already, and a 1-1-25 inch Phormictopus sp Sierra de Bahoruco who’s currently an adorable blue and fulllllll of adventure! I’m absolutely in love with every single one. Thank you so much William for honoring my requests so well when choosing my box, and thank you Trish and team for the fantastic communication and great packaging! Absolutely perfect way to round out my collection for the foreseeable future.
Honestly, we loved the essay! It made picking your box so much more fun, and we’re really happy the three picks landed. Getting your arachnophobic roommate on board is the real win. William and Trish are going to be thrilled to read this, and we’ll make sure they see it. Thanks for trusting us with your collection!
Such an awesome way to start a collection, and they picked some really cool specimens and it feels like I got a great deal. Definately worth the gamble.
Thank you for this! Starting a collection off with a mystery box is such a fun way to begin, and we're glad the picks felt like a great deal. Hope this is just the start of a much bigger collection for you.
I wa t to say how I appt you guys taking into consideration the message I sent you! My daughter was more than happy. She squealed with excitement to get another Peruvian pink toe ! Thank you again
Thank you for this! Moments like that are exactly why we try to pay attention to those details. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
I got a 100 dollar mystery box and specified I didn’t want anything under 1 inch and they obliged and I think I got 3 T all arboreal which I asked for and was super excited about the ones I got
Hi Tavia! We're thrilled to hear you loved your mystery box and that we could meet your preferences. Thanks for sharing your excitement!
the mystery box was awesome. My husband really loved the picks you sent him. The spiders arrived well packed, healthy and happy in their little enclosures.
Hi Andrea, we're thrilled to hear your husband loved the mystery box! Thanks for sharing your experience and for trusting us with the spiders. Hope they bring lots of joy!
First mystery box. While I had some expectations, I yelled in excitement when I got my box. Two T's that I had wanted for a long time. So excited to have them. The others, notnon my radar, but WOW. If I had more room, I'd ordered another box, or two, or three....
Hi Kandiman! We're so thrilled to hear you loved your mystery box and that it brought you excitement. Thanks for sharing your experience—can't wait to surprise you again with more! Best, Exotics Unlimited
Got the cheapest things they could give me not even sure it even equaled 100 bucks to get the tiniest Ts I’ve ever seen so now it’s unenjoyable with Ts I can’t see or have a hard time feeding. God fording they threw in anything interesting. Only got 3 with was the minimum so definitely wouldn’t do this again. Thanks for the inconvenience ✌️
2nd time I’ve ordered this same package and they do not disappoint!! Best place to get your Ts ever!!
Best place to order i got so many good surprises they over delivered 100%
