This brand new Psalmopeous species that just entered the USA hobby and is now available to you as a first time release!

As slings this unique species features a black "Christmas Tree" pattern that will eventually fade as it grows into its adult colors.

The adults of this species feature a darker coloration with a metallic grey carapace, black legs with grey setae and a bronze abdomen.

This species is similar to a dark version of Psalmopeous ecclesisasticus even featuring similar slings which are slightly different and it is said that this species is likely  Psalmopoeus pristirana,  but further scientific analysis is needed to determine this.

Expect a medium sized arboreal tarantula that webs heavily, grows fast and has a great feeding response.

We did not get very many of these but if you are a collector of this genus this is a must have!

How we ship live animals:

We ship all live animals using ONLY FedEx Overnight shipping, since it is the fastest and safest way to ship your new pets.

We ship on Tuesdays (for Wednesday arrival) and Wednesdays (for Thursday arrival) and plan shipments on Mondays.

Please make sure to select a FedEx Overnight option at checkout - for "Facility Pickup" or "Home Delivery"!

If your package is over $400 or contains rare/expensive animals we may require you to pick up at your local facility.

**Please remember that "Overnight Shipping" only means that your animal will spend overnight in the box; it does not mean your package shipps immediately and will arrive the next day! **

How we measure invertebrates:

We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.

Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs

Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.

Cage Requirements

Choose an enclosure at least twice the tarantula's leg span in width, depth, and height. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent condensation and provide a hide to help your pet feel secure.

Diet & Water

Feed your invertebrates crickets, roaches, or mealworms—we primarily use crickets and recommend feeding weekly. Provide a textured, shallow water dish as a drinking source, ensuring it's just water (no sugar, sponges, or additives).

Temperature & Humidity

Keep invertebrates at room temperature (65°F-75°F) and maintain humidity using soil. The soil should be damp but not saturated, resembling the texture and color of coffee grounds.

Soil & Plants

We use organic coconut fiber for our tarantulas because it resists mold and holds humidity well. For bioactive enclosures, choose nutrient-rich soil, ensuring it is free from insecticides and pests.
