Ornithoctoninae sp. 'Hana' (Blue Flame Earth Tiger Spider) for sale

Photos are the same animal one under an LED light and one in natural sunlight. Sunlight photo is what these will look like in most lighting.

The last 11 that will be available nationwide until produced again.

Yet ANOTHER USA first produced here at Exotics Unlimited. VERY limited supply! Slings are ready.

We are excited to debut a species that may not have even been offered here in the USA yet. This gorgeous species from Asia is among the most stunning "earth tigers" in the hobby and becomes more beautiful as it grows. Starting off brown with stripes, changing more orange with purple stripes into juvenile to subadult stage and eventually blue or purple as an adult depending on the lighting.

In natural sunlight and in most lighting you will see an stark orange and purple coloration on adults. The adults also reach a maximum of about 3 inches across, making this group in the dwarf tarantula category.

There is not anything like this group of earth tigers in the hobby.

How we ship live animals:

We ship all live animals using ONLY FedEx Overnight shipping, since it is the fastest and safest way to ship your new pets.

We ship on Tuesdays (for Wednesday arrival) and Wednesdays (for Thursday arrival) and plan shipments on Mondays.

Please make sure to select a FedEx Overnight option at checkout - for "Facility Pickup" or "Home Delivery"!

If your package is over $400 or contains rare/expensive animals we may require you to pick up at your local facility.

**Please remember that "Overnight Shipping" only means that your animal will spend overnight in the box; it does not mean your package shipps immediately and will arrive the next day! **

How we measure invertebrates:

We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.

Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs

Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.

Cage Requirements

Choose an enclosure at least twice the tarantula's leg span in width, depth, and height. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent condensation and provide a hide to help your pet feel secure.

Diet & Water

Feed your invertebrates crickets, roaches, or mealworms—we primarily use crickets and recommend feeding weekly. Provide a textured, shallow water dish as a drinking source, ensuring it's just water (no sugar, sponges, or additives).

Temperature & Humidity

Keep invertebrates at room temperature (65°F-75°F) and maintain humidity using soil. The soil should be damp but not saturated, resembling the texture and color of coffee grounds.

Soil & Plants

We use organic coconut fiber for our tarantulas because it resists mold and holds humidity well. For bioactive enclosures, choose nutrient-rich soil, ensuring it is free from insecticides and pests.
