These are the rare Yellow Zebra Isopods – a super desirable color form of the classic Zebra. Instead of the normal white striping, they show off bold yellow bands on a black body, and every culture produces a variety of striking patterns.
They’re not just pretty either. Yellow Zebras do a great job as a cleanup crew in bioactives, breaking down waste and keeping the soil healthy. At the same time, they’re really fun to keep and breed because of their size, activity, and the unique look they bring to a collection.
Since they’re harder to find than regular Zebras, these guys always stand out. Once the colony gets going, they breed at a steady rate and give you both function and flash in your enclosures.
