Chilobrachys sp 'Tropical Blue' Tarantula for sale

This brilliant teal colored tarantula is a stunner and you can see blue on the sides and tops of the legs, but the rest of the body is a grey color.

Females and males will exhibit this amazing spectrum of blue and it looks like "pixie dust" stickers (best way I can describe) the coloration is not just one color but a gradient from bright tropical blue/teal to bright blue and sparkles in the coloration in person depending on the angle you are at. (Straight on gives you that bright tropical blue color).

Unlike the other species in the genus, this species exhibits arboreal behavior since they live on rock cliff faces. You can see they even have extra large toe pads on their legs and do not dig much at all. Slings will even make web hammocks like pink toe species.

As slings this species is also grey and distinguishable from all other Chilobrachy. They are also extra leggy, and even as babies you can notice the larger toe pads (they kind of look like a cross between Poecilotheria and Avicularia slings)

I was one of the first to have these in the USA and I will say that this is one of my favorite species of all time, due to their unique coloration, amazing color and interesting behavior/taxonomy.

This is a RARE opportunity to get in on these so don't miss it! Well started slings  available today.

How we ship live animals:

We ship all live animals using ONLY FedEx Overnight shipping, since it is the fastest and safest way to ship your new pets.

We ship on Tuesdays (for Wednesday arrival) and Wednesdays (for Thursday arrival) and plan shipments on Mondays.

Please make sure to select a FedEx Overnight option at checkout - for "Facility Pickup" or "Home Delivery"!

If your package is over $400 or contains rare/expensive animals we may require you to pick up at your local facility.

**Please remember that "Overnight Shipping" only means that your animal will spend overnight in the box; it does not mean your package shipps immediately and will arrive the next day! **

How we measure invertebrates:

We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.

Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs

Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.

Cage Requirements

Choose an enclosure at least twice the tarantula's leg span in width, depth, and height. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent condensation and provide a hide to help your pet feel secure.

Diet & Water

Feed your invertebrates crickets, roaches, or mealworms—we primarily use crickets and recommend feeding weekly. Provide a textured, shallow water dish as a drinking source, ensuring it's just water (no sugar, sponges, or additives).

Temperature & Humidity

Keep invertebrates at room temperature (65°F-75°F) and maintain humidity using soil. The soil should be damp but not saturated, resembling the texture and color of coffee grounds.

Soil & Plants

We use organic coconut fiber for our tarantulas because it resists mold and holds humidity well. For bioactive enclosures, choose nutrient-rich soil, ensuring it is free from insecticides and pests.
