The Indian violet tarantula is a gorgeous heavy webbing species from India that features purple legs, and a beautiful iridescent purple abdomen with black stripes!
The striping on the abdomen and coloration is unique because no other Chilobrachy species features this and most have just a uni-color abdomen either blue or brown.
One interesting thing about this species is that the stripes show up pretty early in life about 1-1.5"!
