This rare species is very uniqe and starts off BLUE as babies!
As adults they will turn nearly solid black with orange highlights on the carapace.
This is different than regular "Santo Domingo" and "Santo Domingo Large" since these slings start off blue and not brown with the orange and black abdomen.
This is the only blue hue Pamphobeteus we have seen so far, which is super interesting since most species in this genus are either brown until larger or have the signature "Christamas Tree Butt" seen in many Pamphobeteus species.

How we measure invertebrates:
We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.
Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs
Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.
