One of the most purple "pokies" out there the salem ornamentals are absolutely stunning and also one of the hardest to source and breed!
This species features a gorgeous purple carapace, with purple femurs and legs with that beautiful ivory banding offering an awesome contrast.
Overall this is a dark bodied pokie with the iconic pokie triangular pattern on the abdomen (to me these look like tribal spear heads) and the amaizing orange setae that cover the legs and body.
If you are a collector of old world arboreals, there is not much that competes with this species, so if you have been considering getting one, grab them before they are gone!
