This new species from Colombia is a true stunner, with bright yellow-orange and black coloration. This terrestrial species is expected to reach about 6" legspan.
The babies of this sepcies start larger at abou 0.75-1" and already have adult pattern on the carapace and abdomen.
As they grow they do change slightly, but it is fun to get slings that are colorful their entire lives.
This species has maintained popularity through impressive size, stunning coloration and difficulty breeding.

We measure tarantulas and spiders in diagonal legspan. This means the distance from the front right to back left leg (or vise versa) when the animal is stretched out.
Cenitpedes we measure the full length of the animal from the antennae to the back legs
Scorpions we typically measure the body-length of the animal.
