Argueably the most beautiful of the genus, the X. sp blue is an awesome specimen for those that love size and color!

This species reaches about 8" in size and sports blue femurs with a orange-pink caripace on both males and females!!

Many Xenesthis species have been documented taking down birds, rats and snakes on the forest floor; they only leave a few bones behind when they are done. 

This species is not like others in the genus, most of which are variations of black and pink. Get this awesome giant today!

One of my all time favorite species!! These get a massive and beefy 8" with a bulky build - one of the forest floor tanks of the tarantula world. Xenesthis blue is a amzing because the males and females both feature a gorgeous blue legs, and that gorgeous orange/pink carapace. 

If I did not ahve so many holdbacks of these already I would not be selling this one, but we are making some room for other projects.

Cage Requirements

Choose an enclosure at least twice the tarantula's leg span in width, depth, and height. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent condensation and provide a hide to help your pet feel secure.

Diet & Water

Feed your invertebrates crickets, roaches, or mealworms—we primarily use crickets and recommend feeding weekly. Provide a textured, shallow water dish as a drinking source, ensuring it's just water (no sugar, sponges, or additives).

Temperature & Humidity

Keep invertebrates at room temperature (65°F-75°F) and maintain humidity using soil. The soil should be damp but not saturated, resembling the texture and color of coffee grounds.

Soil & Plants

We use organic coconut fiber for our tarantulas because it resists mold and holds humidity well. For bioactive enclosures, choose nutrient-rich soil, ensuring it is free from insecticides and pests.
